Here´s another Beatbattle-extension: 2 Weeks to get through 'Le Sacre du Printemps' - Strawinsky!!

The Rite of Spring, original French title, Le sacre du printemps (Russian: Весна священная, Vesna svyashchennaya), is a 1913 ballet with music by the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky, original choreography by Vaslav Nijinsky, and original set design and costumes by archaeologist and painter Nicholas Roerich, all under impresario Serge Diaghilev. The music's innovative complex rhythmic structures, timbres, and use of dissonance have made it a seminal 20th century composition.

So here are the Rules:
- If you take part it´s a must to listen to the whole piece in the beginning!!!
- You will have 2 weeks from now on, during the whole duration of the producers-festival Selbstversorgersound - SVS10.
- Deadline is Saturday, Sept 11 - 20h.
- Do only use the given Material - be shure, you can find everything you can imagine (except a clean 909, huhugh!!).

It´s gonna be huge!!!

Welcome back to the second issue of Beatbattle.de! I´m going to switch to english, some of the Artists are englishspoken.
So here we go, lets do another Beatbattle - I´ll upload a .mp3 with 2 fresh samples at around 13h - Your deadline is today, 19h.

BetaBattle 02.01.2010

Regeln für das BetaBattle:

- Das .Zip-File mit Break und Sample steht am 2.1. zum Download bereit

- Es darf ausschließlich das Samplematerial verwendet werden, also keine zusätzlichen Schallquellen.

- Die Workstations sind frei wählbar (MPC/DAW, etc.)

- Am 3.1. muss der fertige Beat bis 17h hochgeladen werden, dass am Abend alle Ergebnisse begutachtet werden können.

Danke an Franz, der die Samples ausgewählt hat: Ein Sample frisch von der Platte (von wem das Sample ist wird am Ende des Battles bekanntgegeben!), und einer seiner legendären Dungeonbreaks.

Also alles in allem erstmal eine Entspannte Variante, reduziertes Regelwerk. Wir werden dann schon sehen, was dabei rauskommt.

 

Vorgehensweise beim Beat Hochladen:

- Auf Inhalt erstellen >> Beat klicken, Datei auswählen, und in der Checkbox mit dem Battle 20.01.2010 verknüpfen. Oder noch einfacher: Auf jeder Battleseite gibt es unten einen Link 'Add Beat'! Genial, ich weiß. ;) Die Beats erscheinen dann auf der dazugehörigen Battleseite. In Zukunft sollen sie dann natürlich auch auf dem Profil zu sehen sein.
